We use what we sell. Then we sell it to you.

Why we built HydraLab

HydraLab came out of a cleaning business, not a laboratory. We run Detailing Solutions Krew — pressure washing and exterior cleaning across Sydney — and we got tired of inconsistent drums and chasing a call centre for an SDS we needed that morning. So we specified the range we wanted, had it blended here in Sydney, and put our own name on it.

We sell by the 20L drum, direct to trade. To start, that's free pickup in Belrose and Wednesday delivery within about 40 km of Belrose, plus delivery to the rest of Sydney, the Central Coast and Newcastle on our next trip out.

How it's actually made

We're straight about this because you'll ask. HydraLab does not own a plant. Our products are blended to our specification by an established chemical manufacturer here in Sydney, then supplied under our label. What you get from us is the spec, the supply and a direct line to the person who chose the formula — not a factory tour.

The advantage is simple: when you ring and ask how to approach painted Colorbond, or a coastal house, you're asking people who do this work every week, not a call centre.

Built for the whole job

HydraWash soft-wash concentrate and HydraBio lichen, moss and algae remover, with HydraPure (our SH-free oxygen-based option without chlorine) and HydraChlor (dry chlorine granules) coming soon. We also stock the SiF Sealers range, so one supplier covers the clean, the seal and the upkeep.

Straight about what these products do

Our products clean, remove, lift and strip. They're cleaning chemicals, and that's how we describe them. We don't claim they sanitise, disinfect, or treat or control anything — those are registered claims under Australian law, and we don't hold those registrations. Anyone selling you an exterior wash on a disinfectant or moss-control claim should be able to show you a registration number.

A Safety Data Sheet is supplied with your first order of any product.
