HydraWash: the surfactant for your soft wash mix
HydraWash is a soft-wash concentrate that goes in the tank with your sodium hypochlorite (SH). It helps the mix cling to walls and roofs and cuts dirt and road film, so the chlorine works faster and rinses clean.
- Mix: 1:100 to 1:75, which is 1 to 1.3 L of HydraWash per 100 L of mix
- Size and price: 20 L, $165 inc GST

Use the weakest mix that works. If staining remains, repeat on that area before going stronger. The calculator at hydralab.au/use/hydrawash works out the chlorine, HydraWash and water for your tank or X-Jet bucket.
How to apply it
- Check the weather. Avoid hot direct sun and strong wind.
- PPE on: chemical goggles or a face shield, chemical-resistant gloves, long sleeves and boots.
- Pre-wet plants, lawns and glass, and keep them wet for the whole job.
- Apply at low pressure from the bottom up.
- Let it dwell 5 to 10 minutes. Don’t let it dry on the surface.
- Rinse from the top down with low pressure and plenty of water.
Never mix HydraWash with acids, and don’t mix it with HydraBio. Use them as separate steps.
